The Best Camera Is The One You Have With You: Canon M50

You’ve likely heard that the best camera is the one you have with you. Like me, you probably have your cellphone with you virtually everywhere you go. Cellphones do an amazing job, but I like to have my Canon M50 with me on occasion. It’s much smaller than my pro gear and better than a cellphone.

The Canon M50 body only pictured above is from Adorama.com. I used my M50 along with the 22mm f/2.0 STM lens to shoot the wing shot in this post while traveling from Raleigh to Atlanta. The M50 also allows in camera editing which helps get the shot to the next level without having to pull into editing software. However, for best results, Lightroom and/or Photoshop would be preferred. But when on the go with in air Wi-Fi, I’ll take the in camera editing option.

Don’t miss the shot just because all you have with you is your cell phone. However, I encourage you to invest in a small regular camera that will get you beyond a cell phone shot for the more important moments in life.

Grant it, this wing shot was not one of the more important moments in life, but I decided to use the M50 instead of my cell phone because it was the better option of the two.

Happy Shooting!
