No Edits - Letting Hair Down At The End Of A Studio Session

In today’s world of Photoshop, Lightroom, phone apps, online tools and other software, you often don’t know that the image looked like before being edited or retouched. However, the images above are straight out of the camera without any post editing.

These are a few shots at the end of the session when I mentioned to the model that we were in the final minutes of the shoot and suggested that we not worry about her hair. As you can see, she has a lot of it and it was nice to wrap the shoot with a few minutes of images like these.

I ended up liking many of these as much or even more than some of the other shots that I took which is a reminder that everything doesn’t always have to be posed and perfect. It’s nice to just shoot sometimes and see what comes out of it.

The Gear…..

I may have used a piece of white foam core for some fill.
